My name is Didas Katona but some people call me Katona Kashona. I am a fashion designer with 12 years of experience. I have worked with different people especially Tanzanian celebrities in different entertainment fields like famous music artists eg. Diamond Platnumz,Mrisho Mpoto and Banana Zoro etc.
For now, i have been one among fashion designers who coordinates different fashion shows for the aim of upbringing differents talents from the young and non recognizable fashion designers in Tanzania that happens in one of the biggest fashion shows known as LADY IN RED in Tanzania every year.
As a fashion designer, i have decided to use my position to help our society by starting my campaign with a name “Mtoto na Kiatu” meaning a child and shoe for the children living in hard conditions (poverty).
This system has made me even more famous countrywise and outside Tanzania apart from being just a fashion designer because i reach out to help the society in need.
For as it is known, every year I organize the “LADY IN RED” fashion show that takes place in early February, i kindly welcome all fashion designers from different countries to participate in this fashion show.
